"Social Media Will Change Your Business"
I found it interesting but not surprising as I grew up in the advent of the mainstream internet.

Upon reading the article, titled “Social Media Will Change Your Business”, I gained a new perspective on the world of blogging. The Author, who clearly wrote from a mainstream media standpoint, cleverly stitched together an article to deliver valuable information about the world of blogging for everyone from homemaker to CEO.

The Piece’s main focus was not just on blogs and social networking’s’ ability to replace the mainstream media, but it’s necessity in the modern business world. Using everyone from the day-to-day blogger to entrepreneur, it was laid out in blog format mostly for people who were not educated on how social media has and will change the future. It was a compilation of different scenarios in which blogs are used. For businesses and people who have yet to harness it's power, it proved to be a valuable guide to what is to come. It went in-depth on how businesses are now using blogs and social media outlets over traditional mainstream media.

In Essence, blogging will become a cheaper more open version of mainstream media with a similar yet open editing process. The article's purpose was clever in it's ability to educate as well as advertise, even showing Businessweeks' new blog link at the end.

The information in the article is structured out as a timeline much resembling the timeline of a blog. The purpose was to show readers the similarities yet differences in the approach of a blog versus mainstream media. The style and content of the article was much like blog history 101 rather how to blog. It asks questions to provoke thought and gives relevant answers to those in which the author believed a majority of people would be asking.
